How to Sign Up and Get Paid
If you've never done this before, read this once. Setup takes about ten minutes, and you only do it once.
Step 1 — Create a free Gumroad account
Go to gumroad.com and click Sign up. Use the email address you actually check. You don't need a business, a product, or a website. Gumroad is the store that holds the book and pays you. You're just creating a login so there's somewhere for the money to land. Confirm your email when Gumroad sends the verification link.
Step 2 — Apply to the program
Go to aiwealthteam.gumroad.com/affiliates. Fill in the short form: your email (same one from Step 1), and how you'll promote — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, an email list, a Telegram group, a Facebook group. Name your handle and roughly how many people see your posts. Click Submit.

What to write in the application box
Gumroad asks "How do you intend to promote?" Most people write "I'll share it with my network." That tells me nothing and slows your approval. Answer three things in two sentences: where you'll post, who follows you there, and how many.
Fill in the blanks
I'll promote on [platform], where I have [number] followers who are mostly [audience]. My plan is [Reels / email list / posts] using your promo kit.
Example
I'll promote on Instagram and TikTok, where I have 12,000 followers who are mostly small business owners and side hustlers. My plan is Reels using your promo kit plus one email to my list.
Specific gets approved in minutes. Vague gets a follow-up question.
Step 3 — Reply I AGREE to the approval email
We review applications and reply within 24 hours. Your approval email asks you to reply with the words I AGREE to confirm you accept the affiliate terms. Your link does not go live until we have that reply. This protects both of us — it's the written record that you understood the rules. Once we have it, you're active.
Step 4 — Get your link
Log in to Gumroad and click Affiliates in the left menu. You'll see Think & Master Claude AI — Digital Edition listed with your personal affiliate link beside it. It looks like a normal product link with a code on the end. Copy that link. That code is how Gumroad knows a sale came from you. Share the plain product link without your code and you don't get paid for it.
Step 5 — Add your payout details
This is the step people skip, and then wonder where their money is. In Gumroad, go to Settings, then Payments. Choose how you want to be paid: bank account (direct deposit) — available in most countries, fastest — or PayPal, available where direct deposit isn't. Enter your details and save. Gumroad will also ask for tax information because they report earnings at year end. Fill it in.
No payout details, no payment. The balance just sits there waiting.
Step 6 — Get your promo kit
Approved affiliates get the kit free at aiwealthteam.gumroad.com/l/jzxobx. Inside: 40 ready-made graphics for Instagram, TikTok, and X, a file of pre-written captions, Reel and TikTok scripts, thread starters, and DM replies. Enter $0 at checkout. It's free to you.
Step 7 — Post, with your disclosure
Pick a graphic, pick a caption, paste your affiliate link, post.
You must disclose that you earn a commission. Every post, every time. "Affiliate link," "I earn a commission," "#ad," or "#affiliate" — placed where people see it before they click. This is a United States Federal Trade Commission requirement, not a preference, and it applies to you personally.
Step 8 — Watch your dashboard
In Gumroad, the Payouts page shows your balance for the current period and what's coming at the next payout date. The Affiliates page shows sales credited to your link. Sales appear within minutes. Refunded sales come back off your balance — that's normal on every platform.
Step 9 — Get paid
Gumroad pays you, not us. We never touch your money and you never send an invoice.
- Payouts run weekly, on Fridays.
- You need a balance of at least $10 to be paid — under $10 it rolls into the following week until you cross the line.
- Money arrives by direct deposit or PayPal, whichever you set in Step 5.
- Bank transfers can take a few business days to land after Gumroad releases them.
About your very first payout — read this so it isn't a surprise
New accounts have a short hold on the first sales. Your first earnings don't go out on the very next Friday. Gumroad holds them for roughly a week before releasing the first payout. That's fraud protection, not a problem with your account. Gumroad wants to confirm the sales are real and that nothing gets charged back before money leaves the building. Stripe and PayPal do exactly the same thing. So plan on your first payout landing about a week later than you'd expect. After that first one clears, you're on the normal weekly Friday rhythm with no delay. Don't panic on day eight. Nobody stiffed you.
Gumroad sets and controls the payout schedule, not CLAUVUS PRESS. If Gumroad changes it, that change applies.
The money, plainly
You earn 35 percent of each sale made through your link. On the $37.99 Digital Edition, that's $13.30 per sale.
Performance rate. 50 or more qualifying sales within 45 days of your first sale moves you to 40 percent — applied back across those sales and going forward from there. Qualifying means completed, paid, and not refunded.
The five things that get people in trouble
- 01Posting the plain link instead of your affiliate link. No code, no credit. Check it every time.
- 02Forgetting the disclosure. This is the one with actual legal weight.
- 03No payout details in Gumroad. Your balance grows and nothing arrives.
- 04Buying through your own link. Self-referral doesn't pay and it ends your participation.
- 05Making income claims. Never tell anyone what they'll earn or what results they'll get — from the book or from the program. Sell what it is, not what it'll do for them.
